St. Anthony water rates to increase

ST. ANTHONY — The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission has approved St. Anthony Water Utilities’ request for a rate increase for customers due to increased rates from the Patoka Regional Water and Sewer District.

The increase approved is 77 cents per 1,000 gallons of water used.

For a household having a 5/8-inch meter and using 2,000 gallons of water, the bill will increase from $15.40 to $16.94, effective for March readings and bills due April 15.

The commission also approved new tap fees of $1,274 and reconnection fees of $75.00.
