Spring Beach Relay benefits Relay for LifeApril 14, 2020
To promote cancer prevention by staying active, Relay for Life of Dubois County is hosting the Spring Beach Relay, a virtual step-a-thon, for the remainder of spring.
Since participants can’t enjoy the beach right now, Relay for Life of Dubois County will highlight the best walkable beaches in America throughout the season on its Facebook page. Participants can enter an individual adult, individual youth, team open, team youth or family. Awards will be given for all categories in both steps taken and dollars raised.
The goal is to walk or run every day; indoors is fair game. Daily participation is not required. The goal is to take as many steps as possible in a safe manner.
By participating in the Spring Beach Relay, participants can social distance and walk or run on their own time while raising awareness and money for Relay for Life. Register now and start earning pledges.
