Spin To Win

Matthew Busch/The Herald
Tonya Mackey of Jasper, left, Eric Birk of Birdseye and Kaci Schwinghamer of Ferdinand participated in the bat-spin sprint between innings of Wednesday night’s Dubois County Bombers game at League Stadium in Huntingburg. The three participants, with their heads on the ends of their bats, had to spin quickly around their respective bats and then sprint across the finish line without falling from dizziness. The Bombers lost to the Hoptown Hoppers 6-5 in extra innings. For the game story, click here. For the photo gallery, click here.
