JASPER — Indiana State Police took a woman to jail after a Sunday night traffic stop in Jasper.

A trooper stopped a 2009 Dodge driven by Pia K. Wyland, 61, Winslow, at 9:21 p.m. for allegedly driving at 45 mph in the 25 mph zone of 36th Street east of St. Charles Street.

Police say Wyland showed multiple signs of impairment and failed field sobriety testing. A blood draw at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center allegedly was positive for marijuana in her system.

Authorities booked Wyland into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:54 a.m. today on preliminary misdemeanor counts of operating while intoxicated (controlled substance) and possession of marijuana.
