From Local Sources

An Indiana State Police trooper from the Jasper Post clocked a speeder at 135 mph Wednesday on State Road 37 in Perry County.

The incident involving a white Infiniti occurred at 12:15 p.m. about 4 miles north of Tell City, according to police.

After a traffic stop, the driver, who was cited into court for speeding and reckless driving, allegedly said he just wanted to see how fast his car would go, according to police.

Authorities advised such speeds are a danger not only to the driver but also to the general public.
