Speed and agility program planned

FERDINAND — The Tri-County YMCA still has openings for its Speed and Agility program which will begin on June 13 and runs until August 6. This program is for all high school athletes going into ninth grade this fall.

The program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. This seven-week speed and agility program offers a wide range of obstacles and exercises to build your endurance, flexibility, speed, power and agility. They will be ran through ladders, box jumps, free weights and plyometrics to enhance specific moves in their sport.

Registrations will be taken until this Friday, June 7. Sign-ups are available online at www.tricountyymca.org.
