With about 1 inch of new rainfall since Wednesday evening, five county roads are closed today because of high water — although they are not the exact same five as on Wednesday’s list.
The Dubois County Highway Department listed East First Street in Huntingburg west of County Road 75W as going back on the closed list today. The county also said County Road 400S west of Ell Creek Road has reopened.
The other four roads still closed by high water are:
• County Road 800W north of County Road 300S.
• County Road 620W at Dillon Creek.
• County Road 150S west of Old Huntingburg Road.
• Ell Creek Road north of County Road 400S.
