Snowball Glitz and Glam

A combination of overnight freezing rain and cold temperatures caused Dubois County schools to cancel classes on Wednesday. Bobbie Jo Bell, left, and her niece, 16-year-old Kaitlin Albrecht, both of Jasper, took advantage of the snow day to search for a winter formal dress and get Kaitlin’s nails done at LA Nails and Spa in Jasper for Saturday’s Snowball Dance at Jasper High School. “I’ve done her nails before at home, but they haven’t turned out as nice,” Bell said. “So I wanted these to look good for the dance.”

Bell and Kaitlin looked at the different nail colors and tried to pick something that would look good with Kaitlin's black dress.
