HUNTINGBURG — No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash the night of Wednesday, Dec. 18, south of Huntingburg.
Lester M. Wiseman, 53, Huntingburg, was northbound on U.S. 231 in a 2008 Toyota Prius when the 9:38 p.m. mishap occurred 500 feet south of County Road 1100S, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Wiseman fell asleep at the wheel and his Prius traveled into a ditch on the east side of the highway.
Damage was estimated to have exceeded $5,000.
A KARS wrecker assisted.
