Holland Elementary fifth-grader Elizabeth Mehringer, center, and her classmates roller skate through the school's hallways while singing "Jingle Bells" in Holland on Wednesday. "It was fun and we got the teachers to smile," Elizabeth said. Physical education teacher Steve Winkler came up with the idea for the students to roller skate and carol after seeing a student easily navigate the ramp leading into the gym.
