Megan GogelHoosier Girls State will take place at Trinity University, Angola, from Sunday, June 23, to Saturday, June 29.
Hoosier Girls State is a program designed to educate young women of Indiana in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. It is a week of living and learning the political system of Indiana through a mythical city, county and state.
The delegates from Southeast School Corporation of Ferdinand are:.
• Jaclyn Haug, daughter of Albert and Tammy Haug of Ferdinand, and Megan Gogel, daughter of Dean and Jodi Gogel of Ferdinand, sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 124 of Ferdinand.
• Leah Wilmes, daughter of Gregg and Kathy Wilmes of St. Anthony, and MaKayla McKim, daughter of Steve and Rachel McKim of Ferdinand, sponsored by Psi Iota Xi Sorority of Ferdinand.
