Certified Nursing Assistant Nicki Smith of Loogootee, center, and her sister, Brandi Gibbs of Dubois, decorate Cathedral Health Care Center resident Joe Emmons’ Christmas tree at the center in Jasper on Thursday. The sisters dressed as Christmas trees with other staff members to boost morale and have a fun surprise for the residents. “A lot of them really enjoyed it,” Smith said. “Some didn’t recognize us.”
