Missing Huntingburg man located

HUNTINGBURG — A Huntingburg man who's disappearance prompted a statewide Silver Alert on Saturday has been located deceased, according to the Huntingburg Police Department.

The alert was issued Saturday for 82-year-old Raymond Underwood.

His family extends thanks and gratitude for everyone who helped search for him.

HUNTINGBURG — A Silver Alert remains active for a missing Huntingburg man.

The alert was issued Saturday for 82-year-old Raymond Underwood who was last seen at 4 p.m. Friday. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Underwood is 5 feet, 11 inches tall; is 185 pounds; and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red and tan striped shirt and tan pants, and driving a white, 1997 Chevrolet S-10 truck with an Indiana license plate of TK813MID.

The Huntingburg Police Department is investigating his disappearance. If you have any information on Underwood, contact the HPD at 812-683-4111 or 911.

Raymond was last seen in Huntingburg, wearing a red and tan striped shirt and tan pants, and driving a white, 1997 Chevrolet S-10 truck with an Indiana license plate of TK813MID.
