Showdown performers announced

JASPER — The lineup is set for the 37th Annual WBDC Country Showdown. The competition will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Jasper Arts Center.

Thirteen acts from across the region will compete for more than $1,000 in cash and prizes. Hay Wire will return to entertain the audience and back the performers.

The contestants are: Modern Day Outlaws and Robert Reutman, all of Celestine; Darsey Lorene, Justin Rottet and Chloe, all of Jasper; Hannah Combs of French Lick; Eryn Sommer of Tell City; Bethany Yeatman of Evansville; Rick VanWinkle of Newburgh; Rodney Watt & Julie Garcia and Band of southern Indiana; Tony Patrick of Cloverdale; and the Riegle Family Band of Muncie.

Tickets to the Showdown are $5 in advance and $8 at the door. Seating is limited.
