To help boost school spirit, the Jasper Middle School held a Spirit Day and before the start of the Tuesday evening football game, hosted a free tailgate party in the gymnasium. Students were given free tickets to the game, ate hot dogs, drank slushies and danced before walking to the field. With help from her mother, seventh-grader Jade Maki decorated her face with paint and sequins for the Spirit Day and the football game.
