Sheriff's office warns of recent thefts

JASPER — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is cautioning all area residents to be aware of an ongoing investigation of theft in the county.

In the last 30 days the sheriff’s office has investigated the theft of two automobiles, a dirtbike, and more than six ATV/side-by-sides.

The thefts have occurred primarily in the northeast area of the county.

The sheriff’s office advises residents to lock up, secure and limit access to their property. If you notice any suspicious activity, or have information that could be helpful to the apprehension of suspects, contact the sheriffs office at 812-482-3522 or dispatch at 812-482-9111.
