Shanna Nef of Clovis, Calif., and Andrew William Bowles of Rexburg, Idaho, formerly of Jasper, were married at 9:30 a.m. PDT Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, in Fresno California Temple — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Brother John Parker officiated.
Allan and Adel Nef of Clovis are parents of the bride. Mr. Bowles is the son of Dan and Dalesse Bowles of Riverton, Utah, formerly of Jasper.
Mr. Nef gave his daughter in marriage. The bride chose a gown of ivory lace overlay with a long train.
Attending the bride were Holly Nef of Utah and Tiffany Nef of Hawaii, sisters of the bride; Allie Adams of Idaho; and Katherine McLanahan of California.
They wore emerald green taffeta gowns with black cardigans and gold jewelry. They carried bouquets of long-stemmed tulips.
Groomsmen were Paul and Seth Bowles of Utah, brothers of the bridegroom, and Jared Nef of California, brother of the bride.
Mrs. Nef and Mrs. Bowles wore semi-formal gowns of emerald green.
Receptions were held in Clovis and Utah.
The couple is residing in Rexburg, Idaho, after a wedding trip to Disneyland, Anaheim, Calif.
The bride graduated from Buchanan High School in Clovis and attends Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg for a degree in elementary education. Mr. Bowles, a 2010 graduate of Jasper High School, also attends Brigham Young University-Idaho for a degree in computer science.
