Shanna Hoffman and Chase Schwenk
September 14, 2020Shanna Hoffman and Chase Schwenk exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020, at St. Ferdinand Church, Christ the King Parish. Father Anthony Govind officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Sara Hoffman of Ferdinand. The groom is the son of Angela Beckman of Jasper and Keith and Angela Schwenk of Huntingburg. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor for the bride was Dana Hoffman of Ferdinand. The bridesmaids were Jessica Egloff of Lincoln City, Jayme Lindauer of St. Anthony, Mackenzie Weyer of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Cassie Neukam of Ferdinand, Amber Shaw of Tell City, Shaina Schwenk of Jasper, Riley Beckman of Jasper and Claudia Schuetter of Birdseye.
Best man was Travis Main of Jasper. The groomsmen were Tanner Beckman of Jasper, Owen Ebert of Ferdinand, Bailey Schulz of Huntingburg, Blake McCain of Huntingburg, Jared Wilgus of Schnellville, Nathan Libbert of Ferdinand, Derek Hoffman of Ferdinand and Nicholas Hoffman of Schnellville.
The bride wore an ivory satin ballgown, ruched bodice with off-the-shoulder detail and finished with covered buttons down the train. The bridesmaids wore burgundy floor-length gowns with pleating on the bodice and accented with slim back and shoulder straps. The mother of the bride wore a navy chiffon floor-length gown with a bodice overlay of beaded crystals. The mother of the groom wore a floor-length black gown with a nude bodice with black lace overlay and embellished with black rhinestones.
Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Judy Klueh and vocalist Bethany Boeglin. The ushers were Clayton Kern of Birdseye and Wes Weyer of Birdseye.
A reception was held at KlubHaus 61 in Jasper with music by Bryce Lain of Soriee Sounds.
The bride is a Forest Park High School graduate and has a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana. She is a registered nurse at DaVita. The groom is a Jasper High School graduate and works for the Town of Ferdinand. The couple resides in Ferdinand.
