Sewing for Others

Betty Kreilein of Jasper hems a pair of pants at her home on Tuesday. Kreilein, owner of Betty's Alterations, has been a seamstress for 42 years and has continued to alter clothing and sew masks throughout the COVID-19 outbreak. Kreilein said she loves sewing and considers her customers to be like family. "I want to do it to help people," she said. "I want to continue it as long as I can."
