ST. MEINRAD — Inkspot Productions LLC has announced the complete schedule for the fifth annual St. Meinrad Rocks! Fest. The two-day benefit will take place at St. Meinrad Park on Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26.
This year’s event will again feature a beer garden, children’s activities and music by 23 acts (bands and solo acts) and a live animal show. Concessions and merchandise will also be sold. Admission to the fest is $10 each day, with children 10 and younger being admitted free. The gates and beer garden will open one hour before the show is scheduled to begin.
The lineup for the weekend is (all times listed are CDT and are subject to change):
Friday, Sept. 25 — Phil the Excitement sings the national anthem (colors presented by American Legion Post 366), 6 p.m.; GTP, 7:45 p.m.; and Rooney and The Rumpshakers, 10 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 26 — Steve Oeding sings the national anthem (colors presented by Boy Scout Troop 102), noon; Dallas Cole Band, 12:10 p.m.; The Thomas Brothers Band, 2:45 p.m.; Oddbody, 4:15 p.m.; Larry Mitchell Band, 5:45 p.m.; 5th Degree Burn, 7:30 p.m.; Dance Styles of Topher Hays, 9 p.m.; Silly Rules, 9:15 p.m.; and Off The Road, featuring Greg Smith, who has collaborated with the Ted Nugent Band, Alice Cooper, Rainbow, Dokken, Billy Joel and others, 10:45 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 25 — 6 p.m., Angel Rhodes; 7 p.m., Travis Dillon; and 9 p.m., Ed Rodimel/1-Man Monster.
Saturday, Sept. 26 — Tammy Cassidy, 1:10 p.m.; Ronnie & Ralph Troesch, 3:45 p.m.; Double Shot, 5:15 p.m.; Brittany Hartloff Matthews and Phil the Excitement, 6:45 p.m.; Phil the Excitement and Marvin Troesch, 7 p.m.; Debbie Schuetter, 8:30 p.m.; and In Society’s Eyes, 10:15 p.m.
The DNR Live Animal Show “Snakes Alive and Raptor of Indiana,” will take place at 1:40 p.m.
No coolers will be allowed, but blankets and lawn chairs are recommended.
This year’s beer garden will be sponsored by the American Legion Post 366 and Boy Scout Troop 102 will be selling food and drinks throughout the weekend.
In conjunction with the St. Meinrad Rocks! Fest, a Poker Run will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, with proceeds will going to the St. Meinrad Area Revitalization Team. Registration will begin at the ball field concession stand at 8:30 a.m.; the entry fee is $10 per driver or rider. The five-stop park tour through Spencer and Perry counties will begin at 10 a.m. For more information on the run, call 812-630-2696.
Proceeds from the St. Meinrad Rocks! Fest will benefit the St. Meinrad Rocks! Fest fund created via the Spencer County Community Foundation to help preserve the beauty and history of St. Meinrad.
“It is my hope that these funds will eventually help to create a permanent display and the continued preservation of town memorabilia and historical pieces,” organizer Carol (Ubelhor) Troesch said.
