Southridge’s Tucker Schank and Heritage Hills’ Cade Jones will represent the South All-Stars at the 2019 Indiana Football Coaches Association North-South All-Star game.
Forest Park head coach Ross Fuhs and Southridge assistant coach Steve Winkler will be on the South coaching staff. Southridge manager LeAndra Pund was also selected as one of the managers for the all-star team.
Schank finished his senior year with 828 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns along with 231 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. He also broke Brad Ohanian’s record of 3,408 career rushing yards to become Southridge’s all-time leading rusher.
While Jones will be the South team’s punter in the all-star game, he had a multitude of roles for the Patriots this past season.
He totaled 532 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns and also was second on the team with 78 total tackles and a pair of interceptions. He had a total of 600 yards punting for an average of 37.5 yards per punt. He was able to down five punts inside the 20-yard line.
The All-Star game will take place on Friday, July 12 at 7 p.m.
