JASPER — As a result of the economic downfall due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jasper Street Department has chosen to adjust the hours for the Resource Recovery Site on Saturdays.
Beginning Saturday, June 6, the recovery site will be open the first and third Saturdays of each month, excluding holidays and holiday weekends.
Saturday hours will be 7 a.m. to noon.
The recovery site is also open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for holidays.
Yard waste, such as grass, weeds, tree limbs or other natural growth generated from gardens and/or yards are the only items allowed at the site.
The site is only available to residents within the city limits of Jasper. Contractors are also not allowed.
