Sara L. Morris and Nicholas A. Gerber

Sara Lynn Morris and Nicholas Adam Gerber, both of Jasper, were married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in Salem United Church of Christ, Huntingburg. Pastor Mark West officiated.

Randy and Sandy Morris, Huntingburg, and Joe and Linda Gerber, Jasper, are parents of the couple.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Stacey Hurst and Jon Vaughn.

Programs and bubbles were distributed by Carli and Ava Wolf, cousins of the bride, and Alexandria Sermersheim, cousin of the bridegroom.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, chose an ivory, dropped waist, A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline, grosgrain ribbon belt with Swarovski crystal embellishments and a corset closure. The bride carried a bouquet of peach and ivory roses.

Ambra Bohnenkemper of Jasper was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandi Wolf of Avon; Amanda and Samantha Gerber, both of Louisville Ky.; Kendra Rottet of Jasper; Mary Ann Lang of Indianapolis; and Lauren Morris of Milford, Ohio.

They wore eggplant satin, one-shoulder, knee-length dresses and carried bouquets of peach roses.

Best man was Dave Bohnert of Terre Haute. Groomsmen were Nathan Farmer of Petersburg; Phil Krodel and Jon Rottet, both of Jasper; Kirk Eckstein of Louisville; Matt Meyer of Falls Church, Va.; and Adam Morris of Milford, Ohio. Ushers were Kyle Bohnenkemper and Mark McComish, both of Jasper; Greg Barrett of Evansville; and Andrew Houtsch of Otwell.

A reception was held at the Huntingburg Event Center.

The couple is at home in Jasper after a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico.

The bride graduated from Southridge High School, Huntingburg, and the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville. She is a marketing and partner programs manager at Matrix Integration. The bridegroom graduated from Jasper High School and is employed at Buschkoetter’s Nursery as a landscaper.
