Ruth Irene Duncan, 93, of French Lick, moved to her heavenly home at Springs Valley Meadows on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
She was born September 30, 1925, in Abbeydale to Ralph J. Kirk and Sallie (Underwood) Kirk.
Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clyde and Clarence; and one sister, Alberta.
She was a 1943 graduate of West Baden Springs High School.
Ruth married Roy Maxwell Duncan July 24, 1948, and he proceeded her in death on February 29, 2004. Together they had one son, Travis Duncan.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and attending gospel meetings.
Ruth is survived by one son, Travis Duncan (Mary L.), French Lick; two grandchildren, Jennifer Duncan, Jasper, and Jessica Duncan, Paoli; and four great-grandchildren, Mary Abigail, Anastacia, Aidan and Anderson.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Love Never Fails Church in West Baden Springs.
Cremation was chosen with a private burial to be held at Ames Chapel Cemetery on a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, French Lick.
