Ruby C. Conrad, 94, of French Lick, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center,Jasper.
She was born in Orange County on August 26, 1923, and her parents were Elza Phillips and Tlitha Ella Phillips.
Ruby married Cephas Doyle Conrad in September of 1941 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Junior Phillips; and one sister, Donna Sue Cooper.
Ruby is survived by one son, “Pete” Dewayne Conrad, French Lick; two daughters, Judy Crews, West Baden Springs, and Debbie Goodman (Harold “Gene”), Bedford; two sisters, Evelyn Cooper, Dubois, and Janet Lee Phillips, Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Ceremony will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel in French Lick. Interment will follow in Cuzco Cemetery in Cuzco.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
