Roy 'Ross' L. Qualkenbush, 86, French Lick

Roy "Ross" L. Qualkenbush, 86, of French Lick, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2019, at the Timbers in Jasper.

He was born August 26, 1933, in French Lick to William Edward and Eva Pearl (Freeman) Qualkenbush. On May 14, 1955, he married Mary Wanda Ann Sturgeon and she survives.

Those surviving who will cherish the memory of Roy Qualkenbush are his wife Mary Sturgeon-Qualkenbush; his children, Kern Qualkenbush and wife, Velda of French Lick, and Reva Qualkenbush-Baker and her husband, David, of French Lick; grandchildren, Desiree of Indianapolis, Brandon of Nashville, Tennessee, Tyler Baker of Nashville, Tennessee, and his wife, Ambra; and great-grandchildren, Indie Grace Baker, Linkoln, Asher and Ethan Harrison. 

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers and sisters, Fred Qualkenbush, Hazel Quinn, Ollis “Ott” Qualkenbush, Robert “Bob” Qualkenbush, Dessie Leonard, and Shelie Qualkenbush; and his grandson, Shane Baker.

Friends may call at Brosmer Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. at Brosmer Kemple with Rev. Brian Harrison officiating.  Burial will follow in the Emmons Ridge Cemetery in Hillham.
