JASPER — The Rotary Club of Jasper partnered with AC Motorsports of St. Anthony to donate two all-terrain vehicles to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources’ Safety Sam program.
Safety Sam is a remote-controlled robot that rides an all-terrain vehicle and talks, interacts and educates children how to safely operate an ATV.
The donated ATVs will be used for training sessions in the program.
The Rotary Club also provided vouchers to children who completed an online ATV safety training course to purchase safety equipment. More than $9000 in vouchers were redeemed.
