Rose Mary Mundy, 83, Huntingburg
May 12, 2020Rose Mary Mundy, 83, of Huntingburg, passed away at 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at home.

Rose Mary was born in Huntingburg on January 23, 1937, to Frank and Loretta (Otto) Fleck. She married Sylvester Mundy on February 16, 1974.
She previously was a manager of the K of C in St. Meinrad, and worked for Jasper Turning Company, and most recently as a cook for JR’s Bar in Jasper.
She was a member of the Jasper Moose Post #1175.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, planting flowers, crocheting, going to the casino, playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Sylvester Mundy, Huntingburg; six children, Sylvester Niehaus, Huntingburg, Debbie (Don) Shake, Bloomington, Barb Kunkler, Huntingburg, Margie Hughlett, Jasper, Randy Niehaus, Huntingburg, and A.J. Mundy, Huntingburg; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Georgie (Joe) Phillips, Jasper, Patty (Dave) Capps, Great Falls, Montana, and Becky (Bob) Schnell, Jasper.
Preceding her in death are two sons, Arthur Jr. and Robert Niehuas; one grandson, Donnie Ray Shake; one sister, Beatrice Mehringer; and two brothers, Alvin and Marty Fleck.
Private funeral services will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper.
