Romona C. Lindauer, 91, Eckerty
December 28, 2020Romona C. Lindauer, age 91, of Eckerty, Indiana, formerly of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:23 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the home of her son, in Eckerty, Indiana.

Romona was born in Ferdinand, Indiana on February 15, 1929, to Adolph and Rose (Gehlhausen) Englert. She married Norman A. Lindauer on September 27, 1947, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2006.
She was a homemaker, then worked at Aristokraft and was a housekeeping managing supervisor at the Bavarian Inn in Jasper until retirement. After retirement she worked at the Jasper Walmart.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.
She enjoyed reading and crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Jane (Jerry) Fischer, Jasper, IN, Eileen (David) Folz, Lamar, IN, Karen (Marc Moore) Lindauer, Louisville, KY, two sons, W. Jake Lindauer, Eckerty, IN, Doug Lindauer, Cody, WY, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and two brothers, Floyd (Jean) Englert, and Sylvan (Rose) Englert, both of Ferdinand, IN.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, are one sister, Leatrice Englert, and one brother, Hillary Englert.
Private family services were held.
