Rollover driver suffers life-threatening injuriesDecember 5, 2018

JASPER — A motorist suffered life-threatening injuries in a rollover accident this morning along Old Huntingburg Road.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched at 8:23 a.m. to the single-vehicle rollover crash on Old Huntingburg Road south of County Road 150S.
Upon arrival, deputies observed a pickup truck on its top.
The sheriff’s department says it appears the truck rolled several times after going off the east side of the roadway.
The male driver was unresponsive upon arrival, according to deputies. CPR was administered at the scene.
The driver was transported to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center before being airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, according to the sheriff’s department.
Because of the severity of his injuries and the uncertainty of his condition, no further information is being released at this time, according to the sheriff’s department. Updated information will likely be released Thursday.
The crash totaled the truck.
The Jasper Volunteer Fire Department and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
