Rocky Renneisen, 89, of Tennessee, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2019, of natural causes.
He was born in Jasper to C.M. and Rose Bockting Renneisen.
He lived a full life and was thankful for the wonderful care provided by his wife, Phyllis Pfeffer Renneisen, and their 61 years together. He was very proud of his family: Amy (Brian) Fawcett, Karen (John) Cicala, Rachel Renneisen, Kay Hughes, and Eric (Elizabeth) Renneisen.
His body was donated to UT Medical School and there will be no visitation or service.
He was grateful to all his students at Wolcottville (Ind.) High (two years); St. Mary’s High, Anderson, Ind., (four years); Michigan State (three years); St. L.U. (two years); VCU (five years); and UTChattanooga (27 years), for the opportunity to share their lives during their school years.
The family is thankful to Hospice of Chattanooga for the care given, especially to George.
