Robotics team competes

JASPER — The Jasper High School robotics team, the Jasper Thundercats, placed 29th at the state competition in Kokomo on April 11, giving the team a No. 28 statewide ranking.

To qualify for the state competiition the team had to make it to a semi-finals match in a district competition and be ranked higher than 32nd in the state. The team didn’t make the semi-finals in its first district competition in Mishawaka, but did at its second one in Greenwood.
