Robert W. Foster Sr., 82, Tell City
May 4, 2020Robert W. Foster Sr., 82, of Tell City, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Born November 4, 1937, in Tell City, he was the son of the late Cyril and Hettie P. (Bryant) Foster.
He married Hettie Wolf on June 28, 1958 ,who preceded him in death on January 16, 2016.
He owned and operated Foster and Son Trucking and was a member of First Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Rebecca (Donnie Joe) Rogier of Branchville, Robert (Lisa) Foster Jr. of Tell City, Annette Marks (Keith) of Huntingburg, Lorna (Sean) Manahan of Union, Kentucky, and Catherine (Jason) Humbert of Huntingburg; a brother, Larry Foster of Tell City; sisters, Helen Shaw of Tell City and Linda Lumpkins of Tell City; grandchildren, Stephanie, Suzanne, Colleen, Joseph, Richard, Michael, Kenny, James, Ian, Garrett and Brayden; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is his wife, Hettie; and three sisters in infancy.
Due to current state mandates, services will be private with Pastor Jason Rea officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Tell City.
