Robert Leinenbach, 72, Jasper
March 25, 2014Robert U. Leinenbach, 72, Jasper, died at 2:02 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born in Ferdinand on Nov. 9, 1941, to Robert A. and Evelyn (Linette) Leinenbach. He married Betty J. Blessinger on Sept. 21, 1985, in Jasper.
Surviving are his wife, Betty J. Leinenbach; a sister, Sandy Begle of Ferdinand; and several children, stepchildren and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Janis Morgan.
Mr. Leinenbach retired from Jasper Engines after 35 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper and volunteered at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. He enjoyed trains and auctions.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
