Robert Lee ‘Bob’ Wertman, 89, Holland
April 1, 2020Robert Lee “Bob” Wertman, 89, of Holland, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, in Clewiston, Florida.

He was born October 14, 1930, in Huntingburg, to Ralph and Grace (Sattler) Wertman and married Sharon Ann Wibbeler on September 1, 1956, at the Holland Methodist Church.
Bob graduated from Holland High School in 1949; was a farmer and worked at Holland Dairy; and served in the Navy during the Korean War, stationed on the USS Oriskany and USS Bairoko.
He was a member of the Holland United Methodist Church and Holland American Legion Post #343 for 60 years; was an avid sports fan; and was honored for his longtime support of Southridge Raider Athletics.
Bob was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Wertman.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon Wertman of Holland; two sons, Kevin (spouse, Diane) Wertman of Holland and Lee (spouse, Jeff Rothweiler) Wertman of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy Wertman of Holland; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at a later date to be announced.
Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
