Robert L. Klingel, age 68 of Jasper, IN, passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at home surrounded by family.
Bob was born on May 7, 1952 to Andrew F. and Helen M. (Gercken) Klingel. He married Mary Matheis on March 1, 1980.
Bob was a member of the Jasper Outdoor Recreation and the BassMasters Club.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, kayaking and cookouts. He also enjoyed shopping at antique stores and flea markets.
Surviving is his wife; Mary Klingel, Jasper, IN, two sons; Kyle (Kelli) Klingel, Jasper, IN, Steve (Jenny) Fuhs, Jasper, IN, two daughters; Staci (Jarrod) Land, Jasper, IN and Kim (BJoe) Aull, Jasper, IN, seven grandchildren; Tyler Lashbrook, Travis, Olivia and Brandon Fuhs, Hannah, Maggie and Gavin Aull, one sister; Jan (Tom) Neukam, one brother; Tom (MaryAnn) Klingel and beloved dog, Emma.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one granddaughter, Kiersten Land.
Due to the pandemic, private family services will be held at the Becher Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society or to the wishes of the family.
