Robert L. Berger, 89, Louisville, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.
He was born in Jasper on Oct. 29, 1923, to Clement A. and Mary E. (Borho) Berger.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Priest.
Mr. Berger was a professional violinist and had received many awards in his musical career.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Becher & Kluesner Funeral Homes, Jasper, is in charge of arrangements.
