Robert Douglas Brown, 63, of Huntingburg, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born April 23, 1956, in Evansville to Earl Robert and Anna Marie (Haag) Brown.
Robert had previously worked as a certified lumber inspector and was a member of the Lighthouse Worship Center.
He loved fishing, preaching and teaching the gospel.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two sisters, Donna Lynn Jacobs and Annette Sue Inch.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Powers Brown; sons, Caleb (Amanda) Brown of Mt. Vernon, and Joseph Robert Brown of Carmi, Ilinois; daughter, Elizabeth (Mike) Brown Reeves of Springfield, Illinois; mother, Anna Marie Brown; sister, Sylvia (John) Stuteville of Evansville; and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. ET Monday, December 23, 2019, at the Lighthouse Worship Center in Jasper, with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
Friends may call for visitation at the church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, December 23, prior to the service.
