PETERSBURG — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a complete closure for State Road 356 just east of Petersburg for a drainage project.
Beginning Monday, contractors will close State Road 356 in the area near 18th Street and State Road 356 to replace a small box culvert. This operation requires full excavation of the previous structure across both lanes of traffic.
The closure will be in place around the clock. Depending upon weather conditions, work is expected to last until the end of July.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
