HUNTINGBURG — Road construction was a factor in a Monday afternoon mishap in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Rebecca L. Armstrong of Huntingburg was driving a 2008 Ford at the time of the 1:34 p.m. accident, according to the Huntingburg Police Department.
Police said Armstrong stopped in traffic for road construction and, when she did, her vehicle was rear-ended by a 2007 Ford Mustang driven by Kenzie A. Neukam, 19, Huntingburg.
An officer called an ambulance to the scene to check a juvenile who was a back seat passenger in Armstrong’s vehicle but police said no one was transported for treatment.
Total damage was estimated at $1,150 and no citations were issued.
