JASPER — The names of businesses that will soon occupy the Jasper River Centre in Jasper were announced on Thursday.
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the nearby Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Jane Hendrickson of Indianapolis-based Boxer Girl LLC said that FitFuel Nutrition + Fitness + Cryotherapy “will be expanding their space on the west end of the building for both residents of River Centre, as well as the public in late December of this year.”
Joelle + Co, a chic boutique that offers one-stop shopping, will relocate to the site, and St. Benedict’s Brew Works — currently with a location in Ferdinand and a future one in Rockport — will also open a location in the space.
St. Benedict's will have a taproom at the site; however they won't brew the beer there. The brewery is still looking for a larger production site.
Hendrickson said that Fueled Strength Meals owner Tim Flick has added River Centre as a drop location for its online meal delivery service.
According to Herald Archives, River Centre, a mixed-use development located along the Patoka riverfront, will have spots for seven businesses and 76 apartments.
