Richard “Dingfod” Wilson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, in Prospect.
He was born May 23, 1929, in Prospect to Odin and Mable (Watts) Wilson.
Richard married Ruth Rominger on February 3rd, 1951, and she preceded him in death on May 8, 1991.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Junior and Gale Wilson; and one sister, Verneeda Woolsey.
Richard was of the Methodist faith and served our country in the United States Army.
He had been employed at Morgan’s Gas Station, the Alaskan Pipeline and Crane Naval Warfare Center, where he retired.
Richard is survived by tow sons, Rick Wilson (Mary Helen), West Baden Springs, and Ronnie Wilson (Debbie), French Lick; two daughters, Rhonda Quinn (Roger), West Baden Springs and Rochelle Wilson, West Baden Springs; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Brosmer- Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick. Burial will follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery, Paoli.
Friends may call from noon until the time of service on Sunday.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service.
