Richard C. Luebbehusen, 75, Jasper
April 21, 2020Richard C. Luebbehusen, 75, of Jasper, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Richard was born September 17, 1944, in St. Henry to Ralph and Anna Marie (Bueltel) Luebbehusen. He married Ella Fay Hudson on November 27, 1968, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.
Richard was a member of Christ the King Parish-St. Henry Church.
He was owner of R&L Painting.
Richard served in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Navy Seabees and was a member of the Huntingburg V.F.W.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding bicycle and spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Ella Fay of Jasper; a son, Blake (Amy) Luebbehusen of Goshen; a daughter, Gretchin (Jeff) Shelton of Jasper; two grandsons, Evan and Jacob Luebbehusen, both of Goshen; and a granddaughter, Sierra Shelton of Jasper.
Richard was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Sternberg.
Graveside services with military graveside rights will be announced at a later date.
