The Dubois County Bombers lost for the sixth time in their last eight games, dropping a 5-3 decision to Terre Haute on Friday night at Bob Warn Field.
Dubois County (29-22, 9-13 second half) scored all its funs in the seventh to temporarily grab a 3-2 lead, but Terre Haute scored twice in its half of the seventh and added another run in the eighth.
For the Bombers, Tyler Brake and Chris Tavares recorded run-scoring singles and Kolin Conner added an RBI double. Brake also scored, as did Cody Daily and Jeff Zahn, who added a triple.
Terre Haute (32-19, 16-6) has won seven of 12 contests this season against Dubois County.
Pichi Torres (2-3) pitched seven innings for the Bombers, allowing four hits and four runs (two earned) while striking out seven.
Dubois County hosts Hannibal (27-24, 11-10 ) tonight at 7:15, the first of two games of a weekend series at League Stadium.
