FRENCH LICK — A $5,000 reward has now doubled to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of 66-year-old James A. Bryson.
Bryson was found deceased at his sister’s residence on Dec. 27, 2016, at 11387 W. County Road 50 South, French Lick. All the doors and windows were locked, and there was no sign of forced entry.
Bryson had last been seen on Dec. 24, 2016.
Police said Bryson, who had no prior criminal history and no history of dealing with local law enforcement, lived with his sister, who was out of town visiting family for Christmas.
Indiana State Police investigators remind the public that any information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, could be the missing piece of the puzzle that solves this murder during the 2016 Christmas season.
