Revocation hearing no-show arrested

From Local Sources

JASPER — A Pike County man who failed to appear for a February revocation hearing was taken into custody on an arrest warrant Friday.

Jeremy L. Pride, 27, Petersburg, was originally charged with Level 6 felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia in May 2018. He was sentenced as part of a plea agreement in November with a sentence that included jail time, supervised probation and community service.

Authorities filed to revoke his probation a month later but Pride did not attend a February 2019 revocation hearing, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.

A Department of Natural Resources conservation officer brought Pride to the Dubois County Security Center Friday night on the active warrant. He was booked at 9:41 p.m.
