From local sources

HUNTINGBURG — A Daviess County man was booked into the Dubois County Security Center last week on a Dubois Circuit Court warrant charging him with two Level 6 felony counts of intimidation.

The Huntingburg Police Department investigated the accusations against Traver M. Grubbs, 22, Washington.

Court documents indicated two females came to the Huntingburg Police Station July 9 to report threats allegedly made by Grubbs after one of the women had spurned his attentions. Grubbs allegedly threatened to blow up the house where the women lived and vehicles.

An arrest warrant was issued Friday, July 13, and Grubbs was booked into the security center the following Monday. He later posted a $1,500 bond.
