DUBOIS — A Saturday afternoon report of an unruly person at the Chuckles convenience store on Main Street in Dubois resulted in an arrest.
A Department of Natural Resources conservation officer and Dubois County Sheriff’s Department deputy responded and alleged that Robert W. Howell, 47, 8052 E. 450N, Dubois, was being loud, had poor balance and appeared to be making incoherent statements.
Authorities allege a portable breath test registered Howell’s blood alcohol content at .29 percent.
Howell was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 5:11 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of public intoxication.
