Report of fight brings arrest of 1December 26, 2018

JASPER — A report of a physical fight taking place early Sunday in the 1100 block of Main Street brought an arrest.
The Jasper Police Department was called to the location at 1:16 a.m.
Officers who made contact with Zachary D.J. Powell, 23, 1609 Jackson St., Jasper, learned Powell had allegedly punch a man in the face.
Powell’s blood alcohol content allegedly tested .21 percent.
Police said the victim did not want to press charges for the alleged battery.
Authorities booked Powell into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:37 a.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
