JASPER — A Tuesday afternoon report of a domestic situation culminated with two drug arrests.
The Jasper Police Department was called to the 1400 block of Newton Street when a concerned citizen advised a male in a maroon truck pulling a trailer had struck a female and was leaving eastbound on 14th Street.
Officers located the truck and, while investigating, allegedly located methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe.
The individuals involved, 31-year-old Tina K. Best and 33-year-old Brandon S. Bullock, both of 1330 Leopold St., were arrested and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of methamphetamine possession and preliminary misdemeanor counts of possession of paraphernalia.
Best was additionally charged with a preliminary misdemeanor count of resisting law enforcement.
